What this website collects, and why
This website is hosted by OVH SAS (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France) on servers located in France. Like any hosting provider, OVH records technical logs when you visit, including:
your IP address;
the date and time of your visit;
the pages requested;
information about your browser and device.
These logs are used solely to ensure the security and proper operation of the website (legal basis: the publisher's legitimate interest). You can find out more in OVHcloud's data protection policy.
Audience measurement (Matomo)
This website uses Matomo, an analytics tool installed on our own OVH hosting, to understand how the website is used (page views, traffic sources, contact requests). Matomo is configured to respect your privacy:
no cookies are set;
your IP address is anonymised (the last two bytes are masked) and location data remains approximate;
statistics are aggregated: no individual browsing history is kept, and only the name of the referring website is recorded (not the full page address);
the data remains on our server and is not shared with anyone;
if the “Do Not Track” option is enabled in your browser, no statistics are recorded.
This audience measurement, limited to the operation of the website, is exempt from consent under the recommendations of the CNIL, the French data protection authority (legal basis: legitimate interest). You may nevertheless object to it at any time:
Your choice is stored in your browser, without cookies. It applies to every page of the website, on this device and in this browser.
Contact form
When you send a request via this website's contact form or window, the information you enter (name, email, telephone, subject and message) is sent by email to Olivier Lattuga in order to process and respond to your request (legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request, such as a quote request). It is not stored on the website, is never used for automated marketing and is never passed on to third parties.
The receiving mailbox is hosted by Proton AG in Switzerland, a country recognised by the European Union as providing an adequate level of data protection.
To prevent abuse, a non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address is kept on the server for no more than one hour, then deleted.
Embedded videos (Vimeo)
This website embeds videos hosted on Vimeo (portfolio, showreels, brand films). The Vimeo player only loads when you click on a video, with the “Do Not Track” option enabled. Vimeo may then collect information about you, including your IP address and browsing data, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
WhatsApp button
The WhatsApp button opens a conversation in the WhatsApp application (Meta). No data is sent to WhatsApp unless you click this button.
Fonts
The fonts are hosted on the website's own server: displaying them does not send any information to a third-party service.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies, whether for audience measurement or advertising. Only the Vimeo player, if you start a video, may set its own cookies.
Retention period
Messages received via the contact form are kept for as long as necessary to process your request and for any resulting business relationship, then deleted or archived in accordance with the legal retention obligations applicable to commercial documents. The hosting provider's technical logs are kept for the applicable legal periods. Matomo statistics are kept for a maximum of 25 months.
What we do not do
This website does not sell any products online and, to date, offers no customer accounts, no members-only area and no automated SMS or email marketing campaigns.
Your rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, as well as the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability and the right to object. You can exercise these rights by writing to contact@olivierlattuga.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL), the competent supervisory authority in France.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in how the website operates or in the applicable regulations. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
